I have been deeply troubled by how distasteful comics have become lately. You have all probably heard about the despicable Muhammad cartoon by now. As much as that sickens me, I am here to tell you about another heinous example of bigotry dripping forth from the pen. It is called Hagar the Horrible. No doubt few of you decent folks have heard of this atrocity. It can only be found in the most hardcore of underground Nazi and fascist publications. Why is Hagar so “horrible” you ask? Simply because the man is a Viking. If Hagar were an Anglo-Saxon, hetrosexual, Christian, he would no doubt be “wonderful” or “stupendous.” But because of his ethnicity and his choice to wear a hat WITH horns, he is somehow worthy of our disdain and spite. Hagar the Horrible is nothing more than a hate crime packaged in serial form...with vibrant colors and humorous dialogue. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure I can continue to live in a world that mocks dead Muslim prophets and ancient Nordic mariners. But for the sake of all the billions of fans awaiting my onscreen reunion with Ben Affleck, I shall push on. Thank you.

This strip of lies plays off the stereotype that Vikings make horrible husbands. Scandinavian friends, I know this makes you want to burn and maim, but REFRAIN!!! Please refrain.
