So much excitement is in the air! The Oscars® are coming! The Oscars® are coming!!! One of my truly favorite times of the year! The Academy Awards are a wonderful opportunity for we the elite to open the eyes and ears of the public (i.e. rabble) to the fantastic motion pictures that you SHOULD be watching. No, you will NOT find any Wedding Crashers at this gala event...but you WILL discover films that make you sigh, tear-up, and feel...truly FEEL, people!!! Like my dear, late father used to say, “If you don’t feel like dying afterwards, it’s not Oscar® worthy.” Oh the bitter angst of cinema...How I applaud thee!!!! In celebration of the many fine artists and their celluloid masterpieces, The Post will be featuring celebrity commentary exploring many of the potential Academy nominees in the days ahead. Stay tuned and open your mind...You may find a gay cowboy or geisha inside!!!
